Dear Los Banos Unified School District (LBUSD) Employees,
U. S. News and World Report recently unveiled their 2023-2024 Best U.S. High Schools List. The publication’s rankings include information on approximately 25,000 public high schools nationally. Nearly 18,000 high schools were ranked based on six factors relative to their performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college. Our own Pacheco High School (PHS) made this prestigious list! The site placed 1st in LBUSD and 5th in Merced County Metropolitan Area. PHS was number 899 in California and 6687 in the nation. This is quite impressive. Please join me in congratulating the students, staff and administrators at PHS for this accomplishment!
