We were notified by Pacheco High School that the site received a phone call this morning about a social media post on Snapchat, indicating that one of its students had brought a gun to school on Wednesday, January 31. The school staff quickly identified the student and notified Los Banos Police Department (LBPD) who conducted an immediate investigation into the matter. It was determined that there was never a threat to the students and staff of Pacheco High School. Additionally, all parties involved with the social media post have been identified and are being addressed appropriately by school officials. We applaud the Pacheco High School Community notifying us regarding threats or concerns. We also thank our partners at the Los Banos Police Department for their rapid response.
La Escuela Preparatoria Pacheco nos notificó que el sitio recibió una llamada telefónica esta mañana sobre una publicación en las redes sociales en Snapchat, que indicaba que uno de sus estudiantes había traído un arma a la escuela el miércoles 31 de enero. El personal de la escuela identificó rápidamente al estudiante y notificó al Departamento de Policía de Los Banos (LBPD), quien llevó a cabo una investigación inmediata sobre el asunto.
