Mercey Springs Awarded Gold PBIS Award

Los Banos, CA — Los Banos Unified School District is proud to announce that Mercey Springs Elementary has been awarded the Gold State Recognized School status by the California PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports) State Recognition System. This Gold-level recognition represents one of the highest statewide achievements in implementing PBIS with fidelity and excellence.


The California PBIS Recognition System allows schools to apply for Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum status based on rigorous data, fidelity of implementation, and positive school culture. The Gold level is awarded to schools that demonstrate exceptional consistency, strong outcomes, and a school-wide commitment to positive behavior, safety, and social-emotional learning.
