The 2nd Annual Westside Hiring & Resource Event was a huge success! With 42 employers and 20 education/trade programs onsite, job seekers had double the opportunities compared to last year. 🌟 BREAKING NEWS: GRASSLANDS ELEMENTARY NAMED A 2025 CALIFORNIA DISTINGUISHED SCHOOL! 🌟 We're absolutely THRILLED to announce that Grasslands Elementary has been recognized as one of only 336 elementary schools across California to receive this prestigious honor! This award celebrates our school's commitment to academic excellence and creating a positive learning environment for ALL students. From our dedicated teachers and staff to our amazing students and supportive families – this achievement belongs to our entire Grasslands community! State Superintendent Tony Thurmond said it best: "Excellent elementary schools play a critical role in the life outcomes of our young people." We couldn't agree more! On 3/18, our Pacheco Concert & Advanced Choirs performed at the CMEA Festival in Fresno, earning Excellent overall ratings! 🎼✨ Advanced Choir also scored a Superior in sight-reading—our first time competing in this category!
